Isn't it weird when you're half-watching a morning talk show and, out of the blue, someone drops the word Scranton? As with The Ellen Degeneres Show a few months back, the city of Scranton was referenced on this morning's Live With Regis & Kelly by guest Rainn Wilson, star of NBC's hit sitcom The Office (that, of course, is set in Scranton, PA).
Rainn Wilson was interviewed this morning by Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Howie Mandel. When discussing Mendel's success on the popular NBC game show Deal Or No Deal, Wilson quipped, "I'd be a guest if they held it at a Scranton mall." No doubt Wilson was referencing his recent visit to the Steamtown Mall in Scranton this past December.
